Pricing questions
- What counts as a download?
- One download is each time you export a finished result — a cleaned file or a chart image. Uploading, configuring, and previewing the full result in your browser is always free and unlimited; the monthly counter only ticks when you actually download a file. On Pro and Max, CSV ⇄ Excel conversions are unlimited and don't count toward your downloads.
- Is the free plan really free?
- Yes — 3 downloads every month, forever, with no credit card and no trial clock. Because every tool runs entirely in your browser there is no server cost for us to pass on, so the free tier is genuinely useful, not a teaser.
- What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
- Nothing is lost. You can still upload, clean, and preview the full result in your browser — you just can't download more files until the next monthly reset. Upgrade to Pro (30/month) or Max (unlimited) to keep downloading right away.
- Does Max really have no limit?
- Yes. Max is unlimited downloads, aimed at the small share of power users who clean or convert data every day. Everyone else is comfortably served by Free or Pro.
- Is my data uploaded anywhere when I pay?
- No. Every plan processes your file 100% inside your browser using client-side JavaScript — your files are never uploaded to a server, so Sigmera stays GDPR-safe by design. For the usage counter we only ever record that a download happened, never the file or anything in it.
- Do I need a credit card to start?
